Post by Cracc »

Any other trance listeners then me browsing these boards?

Thought id just recommend a great album i picked up:

1200 mics - 1200 Micrograms

compiled by Rajaram, not sure on the label tho.

Would be nice to see some other trance album recommendations :)

EDIT: Nm checked, and the label is TipWorld.

I dunno any of the albums or bands really, but when I'm in the mood I usually listen to http://www.digitallyimported.com or the electronica station on my digital cable.

I used to like the stuff in clubs but considering I can't the difference between Trance, Rave, Dance, Club, House, and whatever the fuck else there is... I listened to George Acosta, Paul Oakenfold, Fatboy Slim (first CD, the others were ok but I didn't like as much). I'm not entirely sure how you classify those.

Generally I have a hard time finding music song names or their artist/band/etc. Especially with Reggae and Trance music since they are only played on the radio here on certain times in blocks with no DJ/Commercial interrupts.

By the way if anyone listens to reggae, I need some help figuring out a few songs.. PM me.
Hijoputa 80 DK - Undermine
Psyloche 80 Rogue - Hyjal
Baaka 80 Paladin - Hyjal
Churrasco 70 Tauren Warrior - Firetree
Rennard 70 UD Priest - Firetree
Sinjin617 - Ogame.org (More or less Retired)
Seithyr 70 Monk - Veeshan (Retired)
Psyloche Wenusberg 70 Rogue - Veeshan (Retired)

If anyone's able to explain the differences between the different genres of Techno, I'd really appreciate it.

I mostly listen to DJ Tiesto, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Darude, Prodigy, Paul Oakenfold. DJ Tiesto is by far my favorite.

the link xou posted is VERY helpful about the evolution and genres of electronica. (At least ishkur's was)

I have it bookmarked, it's rather educational and witty at times. So not a total bore.
