My wife has some real audio (.ra) files that I need to convert to MP3 (or another itunes supported format) so she can put them on her ipod. I don't give a fuck if you think there are better apps than itunes... she likes and knows how to use itunes so I need to get these audio files in a format that it supports.

I found a few free/trial version but they wont convert entire files...

Any suggestions?

I think Exact Audio Copy is a program that is free and can do that. It has been a damn long time since I have looked at it though so I could very well be wrong.

Ive been using Xilisoft Audio Converter to do all my audio conversions. Im not sure if it costs money, but its easy enough to get through torrents.

tor·rent (tôrnt, tr-)
n.
A turbulent, swift-flowing stream.
A heavy downpour; a deluge.
A heavy, uncontrolled outpouring: a torrent of insults; torrents of mail.
