Pherr noted some Altima engine problems in another thread due to oil since I'm going to probably change mine soon I thought I would get some opinions...
Ever since I bought the BMW I had back inthe 90s I have used nothing but Castrol GTX. It just seems to hold up better than anything else. However I have a friend how is a mechanic on the side and was a Chief on C-130s for years in the Air Force and he uses Valvoline in everything. He said that he thought Castrol was great oil but second to Valvoline.
What do you guys think?
