15,000 vs 10,000

Besides price, what are the major differences between a 15k rpm hard drive, and a 10k hard drive?

Those two numbers had a very different meaning to me since I just watched Memoirs of a Geisha last night, hehe.

rpm is a factor in the drive's access times, most importantly the seek time. Its not the only factor though, so its usually better to look directly at the hard drives timings rather than the many conditions that achieve them.
