Anyone play a Priest and respec?

Just wondering if anyone was playing a priest at 60 and changed from one spec to another (Shadow to Disc/Holy, Shadow to Holy/Disc, and every other fucking combo I don't feel like typing). I made the jump from Shadow to Disc/holy and have had a blast being able to heal decently and toss out some lolsmite/holy fire nukes. Spamming Holy Nova on an assist train is also humorous.

I played around with a smite/holy nova priest on test, and while I found holy nova to be fun, the build in general wasn't for me. I missed silence and mind flay too much. I think the changes to disc and holy make the shadow build much more balanced now, though. For only 2 points invested in Holy, you get 70% less interrupts to all heals (which is useful in both PvE and PvP), and being able to get Inner Focus and Meditation is awesome.

I went from 31/15/5 disco/holy/shadow to 21/30 disco/holy. I skipped lightwell for the spirit buff, and also took holy fire and angel form. Being a priest is SOO much more fun now.

I went from the cookie cutter raid build of 26 disc/25 holy to 31 disc/20 holy with force of will and searing light. I am seriously enjoying Power Infusion and having some nuking power in BGs. Also not terrible on farm raids for throwing out some holy fires and LOLsmites. I think I might have to respec to grab holy nova, since it looks like it does have some uses that I didn't think of at first.

The mage I sorta team with on raids uses Arcane Power, the 70% reduced agro trinket from Fankriss in AQ40 and his ToEP or ZHC with my Power Infusion for some sick damage every 3 minutes. He gets into the top spot on most fights now in BWL.

Ultimately, I am having a lot more fun now and will actually PvP some on my priest again. Though this means I might end up spending some points on getting some +damage gear, but fun is fun.

I found that Power Infusion is just plain fun. Currently I am 32disc 19holy and I find the spec giving me a powerful boost in damage while still being able to heal. My favorite thing to do is shield up, use PI on myself and drain my entire mana bar with Holy Nova.

Play with 30Holy/21 disc. I skipped the angel ability, it sucks if you ask me (10 seconds to heal... if it's actually useful on raids to prevent a whipe, then I haven't seen it happen).

I took angel form, and it's a fucking wasted talent. My guild peeps are very good at keeping shit off me, so if I die, I almost always die last.

On friday I respec'd to a PI lolsmite build just for fun, cause I spent the weekend farming NR gear. Quite frankly, it was kind of boring, but that was probably more due to my gear not fitting the build I'm sure.

If I ever get the oracle set, or more generic +dmg/healing gear, I'll probably give it another try!

Respec'd on sunday again back to a 21/30 healing build, but this time I dropped imp PW:S, as well as SoR, holy reach, and imp poh. SG seems much more beneficial for the way I play my priest, which is lots of downranking and efficiency. I have roughly +82 heal from SG when raid buffed, which is nothing to laugh at.

Overall, I've enjoyed the new talent set up. My heals are more efficient across the board, and gheal is actually useful. I use heal2 mostly, personally. It's incredibly efficient and I can chain it for a very long time.

I did the Lolsmite thing for a few weeks as interest in AQ waned. I can't describe how annoying it is to have that spec in pvp and try nuking people down. One kick/pummel/whatever knocks out your holy and disc spells because Blizzard still hasn't fixed it.

I went back to a pure healing build and am enjoying the big numbers that I see.
