I watched it just this afternoon. Did you know the Count has a Countess now too?

Sex change operations don't really interest me. But if it were possible to pay to have an operation to make me a muppet...it would have been done already.

Also, Fraggle Rock Season 1 was released on DVD a few months ago.

DANCE YOUR CARES AWAY. *clap clap*

Electric Company won with me hands down. It used to make my day to see the pinball machine with the counting song. 3, 2, 1, contact was a decent show as well although not as long as EC or ST.

I always liked the one where Ernie makes the clay Bert then steals his nose at the end.

When I was a kid the "heeeeere fishy fishy!!" sketch gave me laughs like nothing else.

I was into 321 Contact, and Square One as well as muppets and Sesame.

Come on Winnow. Get your childhood educational TV straight.

Conjunction Junction was from Schoolhouse Rock, not Electric Company.

Mother Necessity. Where would we be.

Shows how much of dumbed down kids TV I watched! I was probably reading a Richie Rich comic and not paying attention.

I didn't watch TV much as a child...Captain Kangaroo in the mornings at the most. Afterschool = me running through the woods and swamps chasing animals mostly...:)

Though with the birth of my Nephew I did watch a good bit of kids TV in the 80's...Uncle Travelin Matt FTW!!!!!!

I do remember a couple of "Street" Moments both of which I'd put above any on that list:

1) Little Rebel "L"...a spikey haired "L" singing to the tune of "With a Rebel Yell"...Little rebel L, he went La La La...

2) And what has to be the greatest "Street" moment EVAR...Cookie Monster in a dream, is running through a Cookie world in ecstasy when suddenly all the cookies disappeared. He began thrashing about smacking his head and shouting repeatedly "NO COOKIE, ANGST!" I literally laughed until my sides hurt.

"In the News' on CBS Saturday Mornings.

Time for Timer after school .. I never hankered for a hunk of cheese.

Sesame Street BEFORE the friggin Elephant showed up and Hooper was alive rocked.

The freaky puppets in Mr. Rogers neighborhood wigged me out.

I seem to remember somethiing called the Big Blue Marble ...

Wait wait... why wasn't the greatest rap anthem in the history of ever included in this list?

I know some people say Cookie went soft with "Healthy Food", but that shit was DANCIN'! VVs to anyone who can hook me up with that shit.

"The Earth's a Big Blue Marble when you see it from out there,
The Sun and Moon declare..."

That's where the theme song lyrics fail me...It was like a sociology/cultural anthropology show for keeds as I recall...
