A group based out of NYC pulls off monthly stunts designed to, as they put it, "cause scenes". Sometimes using just a few members, other times utilizing several hundred, they have pulled off some hilarious shit.

Just down the stairs from where the skiers finished their trek, we found an abandoned beverage kiosk. Agent Dunn set up shop and offered Aspen residents a much-needed service.

Around 150 people enter the same subway train at different stops and pretend all is normal.

"At the second stop, another single agent depantsed and transfered to the target car. The pantless agents now riding the same car did not acknowledge each other. We all simply behave as if everything is completely normal. Some agents read the paper; others listen to their iPods. This year I chose to try to fall asleep."

A cop removes an agent from the train and demands know "what is being protested?"

Giving out dollar bills on the subway (a different event)

Inc trouble - rival beneficiaries begin giving out free 20 peso bills - and a turf war begins.

The 4 foot suicide.

"We got your wife here. She says she loves you very much."

Image
Out of nowhere a shout is suddenly heard at the far edge of the ledge. "Will! What the hell do you think you're doing?" Will's coworker, Nate, had braved the dangerous ledge in attempt to save the day.

"Sir, don't try to be a hero."

Anyhoo, thought this group pulled some funny stunts. One of the stunts they pull off will be semi-featured on this week's This American Life. Enjoy.

Some friends and I did some similar things during college. We ended up using video for an assignment the Drama professor had given us instead of going on stage. Ours was less improv than most of theirs sound.

I liked the Big Mac set, especially with the Wendy's manager asking the Big Mac if he wanted a Junior Me.
