As the IRC regulars already know, IdleRPG (see http://null-karma.com/idlerpg) is running on the new IRC network.

Instructions on how to play are on the web page linked above. You can connect via your normal IRC client, use veeshanvault.org or irc.null-karma.com (round robin between the three servers that participate in the network) or use http://www.veeshanvault.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9320 for directions on how to use CGI:IRC (useful for folks that only have web proxy access to the internet from work).

If you’re no stranger to IdleRPG, you will find some changes to the stock code so stop on by anyway and check it out.

As a side note for those using nickserv, for the love of fuck stop creating new accounts for your various nicks. /msg nickserv link another_nick works just fine. Just make sure you're authenticated via the nick you want it linked to. It makes administration so much easier. Thanks.

So... how do you play it if you're supposed to stay idle all the time?

One of the best past times in IRC is to simply idle.

Now you have something to "do" while you idle.

it should work - if you are using http://www.veeshanvault.org/irc

(just tested it from 3 seperate locations/browsers)

Does this only work on 6667 port? Cause I have to use 6668 at school.

I tried and can't use 6668 to connect to any of the servers
