Well, being in Wisconsin we get the normal pallet of cheese. This year we did get a large cheesecake sampler that was mighty tasty. I suspect we will get at least 6 more pallets of cheese and a couple more logs of sausage.

*I work for a trucking logistics company so believe me when I say pallet.*

I've always been on the vendor side, no one ever sends us anything :(

We usually get some shirts and such from our Sun rep, but that's about it.

I can go weeks and not wear unbranded clothing :)

Popcorn

First tin came in yesterday, we will be eating caramel popcorn until well after New Years.

Last year I got a set of CD's from a vendor made of chocolate. More creative that popcorn, at least.

We get a couple different things

Baskets with assorted teas, coffees, hotchocolates.
Deli snack platters (i.e. assorted meats, cheeses, crackers, pickles).
Assorted candy selections.
Tickets to hockey games/plays/concerts.
Various little graft items, ranging from coffee mugs, to golf shirts to small coolers with the appropriate company logo.

Very rarely a good bottle of rye, liquer or single malt scotch but is VERY rare andwith people that know each other well, as most company policies in the Canadian energy sector forbid drinking/alcohol on their premises and very rigidly enforce this.

Dell flew a female (cute too, coincidence?) out to take me to lunch and give me some Dell etched nice pens (Bought 120k in workstations and servers)

Another company that sold out in the dot.com collapse invited me to their company Christmas gathering, where I was the only non-employee, where we had a catered meal (Spent about 500k on switches, routers, and consulting)

all we get is christmas cards and a christmas flower arrangement :(

on the other hand we give our customers baskets filled with polish hams, sausages and other goodies imported from Poland (like minature bottles of vodka and other liquor)
they love that stuff, it's the real thing none of that pseudo polish crap you can buy in american supermarkets
