Does anybody know a lawyer who practices Trademark law who would help me register a trademark without charging me an arm + leg?

I was looking at legalzoom.com but I don't know anything about them, OR registering a trademark!

I'm in Texas, if that makes any sort of a difference.

I did some research on this a while back...it's not that bad to do yourself, but it *is* spendy. Last I looked it cost about $250 to register a trade or service mark.

My two best friends are lawyers out here in Atlanta. I work in their office, which happens to have a pamphlet dealing with registered trademarks, etc. If I remember correctly it is pretty easy to do it yourself. You fill out an application and pay a fee. You can then use the letters TM next to your company logo. Once your application has been processed and approved, you can then use the "R" with the circle around it, which means registered.

I'll PM you more info when I get into work tomorrow.
