Ill pass, feel enough like im betatesting MS products when im running the "finished" version :)

And its called alphatesting, beta is the first release, beta 2 is the first service pack, you might get a reasonably working release around SP2 :)

You know,

I've never installed or even used Yahoo Messenger. 98% of the people I interact use either MSN or AIM and the rest use ICQ

I use yahoo at work cause thats what the other people in tech support use. Now that my girlfriend isnt in college anymore I don't use AIM, and I only use ICQ to talk to Sinzar.. I don't really care for MSN and haven't used it in years.

I used to use ICQ. But it doesn't work from work. Yahoo works because you can use HTTP requests so that's what I started using. AIM? Ick. Never bothered with MSN since I had no reason to.

Hate AIM, MSN Messenger is usually only opened for talking to one person or checking hotmail quickly, nobody I know uses ICQ anymore. Yahoo is the only one I use relatively often.

To be technically accurate, I use them all via Trillian.. but nobody I know uses ICQ anymore, I loathe anything AOL related, so don't ever give out or use AIM, and I don't care for MSN either. Yahoo! does everything I want it to and w/o being annoying with a lot of spam.

We use MSN at work and it seem fairly decent. I use ICQ at home and work for personal use though I am always in invis mode as I only want to chat with friends. Actually chat is the wrong term as I use it mainly as a means to contact people for online gaming or quick notes.

If you want a messenger for gaming, try xfire http://www.xfire.com
I love it, doesnt mess up your games, wont mess up priorities, can chat while in game, tons of features, lots of downloads, and very frequent updates. One of my favorite features for things like fps's is that it will show what games your friends are currently playing, and if possible, will let you join the server they are on.

Im on xfire under the username aod9910
