I am after a quote (I think it's from a book by Plato), in which the leaders of ancient greece are having a discussion on what is best for the people of greece. They discuss back and forth, and at one point it is put forth that democracy cannot work because educating the mob is impossible.

Can anyone tell me what the name of the book is? And if it is indeed by Platon? If you even have page numbers i will love you long time.

that's pretty damn general .. sounds like it could be from a number of plays by aeschylus, euripides, or sophocles ;p

The quote will be from The Republic that is the thesis of the work. No idea which specific quote you are interested in, need a bit more info to determine the specific one you are after.
