Does it annoy the fuck out of anyone else? I don't generally like the holiday much because I've had quite a few bad things happen this time of year. I just can't help but want to claw my ears off when I hear some of these songs though. I hear them in the car, I hear them in the mall, I hear them at work... I just want to throw the radio against the wall and beat it with a baseball bat sometimes.

Maybe I'm the grinch, but sweet jesus, I've heard these songs enough. From the day after Thanksgiving til Christmas. Anyway, was just curious if anyone else felt they were as obnoxious. I can usually tolerate things written in the last decade better since I haven't listened to them my entire life.

I like classic christmas music.

Bobby Helms, Harry Belafonte, Brenda Lee, Bing Crosby... heck, even Elvis doing Blue Christmas puts me in a festive mood.

I don't really care for contemporary pop artists doing Christmas tunes.

I knew I screwed that up, I was just too lazy to change it! I need to take it off anyway, since I don't play EQ anymore. Sig fixed, thus far it seems like I'm crazy in that I hate Christmas music tho!

it's not that i hate christmas music, it's just that after a certain period of time i just lose my fucking mind from being constantly bombarded by it EVERYWHERE I GO.

christmas music used to give me that "holiday feeling" when i was a kid and my mom would play records while we baked cookies or wrapped presents or decorated the tree. when target, starbucks, vons and any other business i might set foot in are all pumping the same christmas tunes into my head 24/7 they start to lose that luster.

I love Christmas music but I rarely listen to the radio so I am mostly listening to it by choice on CDs or my MP3 player and can control the repitition etc. (I also have like 40+ christmas CDs so I have a fair variety to pick from).

I had enough of it the day after Thanksgiving when everyone breaks it out and starts playing it non stop in public places.

trying hearing that shit for eight hours a day since black friday for the last two years.

The best Christmas album of all time is Johtn Denver and the Muppets. If anyone who agrees with me needs it in digital format, I can host it, though I'm going out of town in the morning.

i worked at barnes and noble my freshman year of college... starting in october, all they played was charlotte church's christmas album.

christmas music makes me want to punch myself in the face repeatedly, with the exception of a few songs by tori amos and damien rice.
