"Whinny ass loosers who spend more time crying for attention than playing the game cause they suxzors and noone will group with them"
is that a title for your autobiography? might be a good working title but you might think of something shorter for the print version.

Damnit Gordo, don't hijack the hijack!
Gotta love the fungus on pizza. Mushrooms are a must as are onions. I can't stand the places that chop the onions(green peppers too) up into little squares.
What about Frozen Pizza? I loves the Digorno.

Here's a question. Since pizza is traditionally called Pizza pie, can it be elevated to the status of piedom in our collective adoration of pie?
Posted: December 5, 2002, 2:26 pm
by Xouqoa
If we classify pizza as a 'pie', I'm afraid I would be forced to change my once-permenent stance of cake > pie.
Cause like, I could live off Pizza.

It really isn't even the l33t speak that bothers me, at least that is done on purpose or so I am assuming. If he were to say "Wh1n3y 4zz l053z", that would be perfectly acceptable to me.

Said the same for 20 years til someone got me to try ham and pineapple...and I grudgingly had to admit..it was good. I don't go out of my way for it, but I can say it doesn't suck

Boston Pizza did a "tropical chicken" that was really interesting: Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce, with pineapple and (surprise!) spicy chicken... was pretty decent.
Never had anchovies and the idea of sardines on pizza makes me wonder (used to be shudder until I tried the above). Love hot pepperoni/suasage (depending on pizzeria), onions and jalapeno. Love ham and pineapple. Also very fond of the works on em (i.e. Boston Royal).

Either pepperoni, olives and onions or pepperoni and jalapenos for me please.
As far as pineapple, I tried that once and hold firm to my belief that pineapple has NO business being on a pizza. That just did not taste right.

Gorgonzola? Sounds horrid...wtf is Gorgonzola (I am assuming it's a cheese, but with Dorfgin ya never know)
Posted: December 5, 2002, 6:14 pm

Wulfran, that Tropical pizza sounds fab!
And yes Boogahz, gorgonzola is a cheese. Not totally uncommon, so I'm surprised you never heard of it. Then again, there are many Americans who consider Velveeta "cheese."

Extra cheese, mushrooms, black olives and onions, please!
I dont eat meat which is a good thing. I can't say I miss those pizzas with half an inch of grease on top from sausage and pepperoni.

Actually when I worked at a pizza place like 850 years ago, a double cheese pizza was the one with the most grease. I would have thought it was one with a lot of meat.
For me plain boring peperoni works, or some form of pep/ham/sausage/bacon/etc.

Extra cheese and mushrooms works for me.

Actually I think Velveeta is nasty as hell. I haven't been able to even order "cheap" pizza since moving into my new Apartment, so I don't get out much anymore either
I sux0r and I want pizza!

Gorgonzola is a blue cheese. Sounds a bit odd for on a pizza, but it could be tasty. I'd try it
I went to Italy once. Ordered a "pizza". They floated a pad of butter in the middle of the "pie". Was odd. Tasty, but odd.

There is a pizza place near us that has a Pretzle and Honey pizza.
My husband likes it. Its a different i will say that.
As for me Ham and Pineapple all the way!
though sometimes Artichoke hearts and mushrooms make for a nice change.

I work in an Italian restaurant. We make some great pizzas. We have one called "The Burning Pizza"
Spicy ground beef, roasted red bells, cerano peppers, red peppers, cheddar cheese, mozz., onions.
It is da bomb.
