You just got one of the premier forwards in the NHL. He's big and skilled and a genuine franchise player. At 26 he is young enough to provide a focal point for the team for a while if you can keep him happy and signed (which even Boston was able to do, so it shouldn't be too tough

).

I can't believe Boston would trade him away like this. I'm not going to say they didn't get value in Stuart, Primeau and Sturm but this is a huge shock.

Yeah, pissed me off and I only go to a couple B's games a year. Probably not going to go to any more, can only imagine how pissed off the season ticket holders are.

Personally I like Stuart a lot, I was hoping the Kings would have picked him up.
