I travel a lot and want to subscribe to a wireless internet service for my laptop. A friend has his thru...mmmm....sprint, I think...and he's pretty happy with it. He says he can get online with his laptop anywhere.
My questions to you are...
1. Are there many such services are available?
2. Which ones can you reccomend or NOT reccomend and why?

Only two national ones I know of are Verizon and Sprint. Pretty much like cell phone service from what I have heard so kinda depends.
