Yeah, I saw Chappelle at Eastern Michigan about a month ago, it was the most phenomenal show I've ever seen, and it was about the 5th time I've seen him live. He was on stage for over 2 hrs 45 minutes, and he made it pretty clear that he wouldn't be doing any more TV show anytime soon, though he said he couldn't say for certain that he'd never do it again.
He's still the best standup working today.

I dunno... I like Patton Oswalt and Brian Regan more than him.

Charlie Murphy told a bunch of major media sources that he wouldn't be doing it for quite a while. Since then, Chappelle himself has concurred, and is concentrating quite heavily on his standup (as Sylvus mentioned).
As much as you may like his show, you'd probably love his standup 10x more.

Yeah, but still you can do stuff with a tv show you can't do with a stand-up routine. Take Kneehigh Park (think that's what the sketch was called) for example. That was a piece of genius, and no way it could have been in a stand-up

"Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories" could only be done on TV.
