Wasn't really sure which forum to put this in, but I thought it was worth mentioning seeing as how he did the cover art for all the EQ boxes we all owned. I know at one point he was the art director over at Vangaurd, but I'm guessing with this illness that was some time ago. Anyways, here's the link.

Fairly certain he was still the Art Director up until his passing, maybe not in the office but defintely in effort- but that's not the point here.

Keith Parkinson was a great artist, and a man who has truly contributed to the gaming and art worlds. He will be missed.

Keith will be missed greatly. He was a remarkable man and someone I was priviledged to both work with and know on a personal level. He affected so many beyond those that personally knew him and approached life with vigor and happiness that is so rare.

has always been one of my favorite Fantasy artworks. Its been on my hardrive since i ever owned such a thing beeing my desktop more often than any other single pic.

He will be missed.

He will be missed and I hope his success in work brought him the ability to experience as much of life as possible before he left it behind for new worlds.

I got to meet him at GenCon a few years ago and got him to sign the print I bought. He was very gracious and personalized it to me, and it's hanging up in my office even now.

Im saddened by this loss, in tears actually. I loved his worked, truly truly terrible.
