Omg, someone using this fourm to talk about Eq.. damn.

I've come upon a bit of a problem. I just finished Ring 8 last night, after getting to Gloridian's camp without contest - and this time, after turning in the marching orders, the damn fragger of a dwarf actually POP'd with his troops, such uber! - and once completed, I went to go look around and check my faction with the Dain. Instead of the kindly I was expecting.. I'm doubious. Yeck.

Since that is a total twist in the monkey's ass, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on ways to raise his faction. I know Tormax works, and I know you can do the first part of the shawl quests over and over for faction aswell. I have heard you can do Ring 5 over and over for faction, but was wondering how well this works - or if I have to request all the way up to ring 4 again to redo it.

There are numerous mobs near that bridge that will give dain faction.

Also, I think there's a quest that allows you to turn in the giant militia longswords etc. Also, if you complete thurg armor quests, that gives dain faction.

if i recall correctly, dubious is fine w/ Dain to get the declaration.

Sentry is on Coldain faction, as is the Seneschal at the end of the Ring War.

If you have only completed ring 8, then you still have 9 to go with all its associated faction hits... I thought that all the dorf traitors give you +Dain too (not to mention the completion of the quest) but its been a while since I did it...

Dubious is fine. I got my declaration a couple weeks ago at dubious.

My suggestion is....don't mispell Asking, its not Askig
