It's not much of a debate really in terms of tastiness.

Fried chicken - good all round feed
Ribs - Taste winner but not as filling in the long run meaning you need to go buy some fried chicken somewhere.

While I am a big fan of both, I really hate getting messy when I eat so I chose Chicken over Ribs due to that. Now if it were pulled bbq pork I'd take that over the Chicken.

I don't think I can choose... I like them both but disagree that anyone can make good fried chicken. IMHO most people and places can't make good ribs OR chicken. As I said I love them both.

If we order take-out ribs, it always come w/ a bucket of fried chicken. Jesus, what a great dinner that is w/ the little rolls and cole slaw.

I always pre-cook my ribs before actually putting them on the bbq, not really sure why, it's just how I learned it I guess.

The house I just purchased has a direct gas line to my deck for a grill. I think I know what I'm cooking this Sunday

Just had some awesome ribs a few days ago. But I could definately go for a pulled pork sandwich with some sweet cole slaw on top.

you do it because it makes the ribs fall of the bone after you are done grilling them. the more tender the better!

I eat fairly healthy 95% of the time. However, if I have to choose between chicken or ribs to fill out that 5% of I-don't-give-a-fuck-what-it-does-to-my-arteries-time, it's going to be ribs every day of the fucking week.
