If you don't know the real name for those "slot things," you might want to have a real nerd wrangle your hardware.

Like the guy who wanted a water cooled PC so made the case watertight and filled it up with a hose then posted on teh intarweb that his PC was now ruined.


There's no way a guy with a bottom-of-the-line Dell is going to drop $500-600 on a top of the line video card.

Not to mention the 7800 only comes in a PCI-E version? And the 2350 has an AGP slot only...hehe

Hehe, one of my friend actually had a customer do something similiar way back in the 386 days, the guy bought some RAM modules (hideously expensive back then) and cut off some of them to try and fit them down in a PCI slot.
And no, he didnt get his money back.
