That comment he made was stupid. Extremely stupid. Most French support him and he attempts to alienate them? Idiotic.

You should clarify yourself (and maybe he should've as well)
I think the french PEOPLE support him. I think the french organizations, sponsors, and particularly the media would give their firstborns to see him crucified on global broadcast over french soil.

It is mostly L'Equipe that has lead the witch hunt. Aside from them I don't think it is that bad.
