Ok this is the first time I played a Salary Cap game. I am guessing that you can pick any players you want so long as you are under your cap?

First time for me too. But, yes. It has to fit within the $100 salary cap. It's pretty cool actually.

Interesting. This looks like fun. I wonder how many teams will have Peyton leading them?

Yeah you can't see the other teams choices either. I wonder how bye weeks will be handled.

Paddlers are in and I have done salary cap football before.

If it works like other leagues i've been in what happens is the following:

When you buy a player, it locks in their price, so if you buy them cheap, and they have an outstanding few weeks, their salary goes up, but doesn't hurt your "cap" of $100.

When bye weeks come, you have to drop that person, and buy a different person - this is where you get nailed if they have gone up in price, because you most likely won't be able to buy them again without making other adjustments to your line up.

Any other questions let me know: )

I see miir the grumpy troll has something in common with grumpy fag Sylvos. When was "fuck the world" so popular it needed abbreviation?

Serious question: if say you draft Peyton Manning, and Baltimore breaks his liver in game 1, you still get back all $28 when you sell him?

This should answer your question
Update Unit Values
Clicking on this link will adjust downward the salary you allot to players on your team whose salaries have decreased since you acquired them. It brings your Team Value in line with the player's current market value, freeing up cap room for you to use on other player moves.

So, assume you have $25 million allotted to Priest Holmes, but his current market value drops to $15 million. By clicking the "Update Unit Values" link, you will lower his salary to $15 million. This frees up $10 million for other moves.

Using this feature will automatically adjust the salaries for every player on your team whose salary has decreased since you acquired them.

If a player's salary has increased since you acquired him, his salary WILL NOT be adjusted upward on your roster when unit values are updated. However, if you sell this player, you must pay the current market value to reacquire him.
So, your answer is yes, masteen. If Peyton's value drops from $25 to $10, then you can recoup $15 towards your salary cap, and then if you decide to sell him, you will recoup the remaining $10.

Another rule worth noting that was touched on earlier regarding bye weeks
If you do not have a complete 9-man roster, you will not receive any fantasy points for your entire lineup for that week.

My bold prediction:

If I don't forget to keep track of this game, I'm going to win. I've got three fantasy football games to keep track of with higher stakes though!
