Mother Nature can be a dirty vengeful whore

Yesterday on the site I work on we had some bad ass weather.
I was sitting in a house doing some of the final touches before it closed today, and I looked outside because It started to rain really hard. I was just kind of glancing around watching everyone run for cover.
After about 5 minutes of torential rain, the sky got pitch black. This kept my interest so I stayed at the window. A few seconds later lightening started to strike about once every second all relatively close by, then like in a movie, one of the houses got struck.
When the lightening hit the house, it sent pieces of the roof all over the place and the house ignited almost instantly. The lady that lived there came running out immediately, (these people just closed on their house in the last few months, they are a young couple - late twenties, and this was their first house) and was unharmed. The fire was really bad, but luckily the fire department is about a 1.5 minute drive from here doing the speed limit.
The whole top floor basically burnt to shit, and by the time they got it put out, the main floor started to burn too. Not only that, but the house to one side of it got all the siding melted off of it, plus the sheathing as well. And the house to the other side of it, the whole garage and upper bedroom were burned down, and a little bit into the main part of the house too.
The three houses aren't the big deal - insurance will rebuild them in time. But what really made me side to my stomache is when the firefighters walked out with a box of what looked like charred photo albums.
Anyways, I wanted to post a couple of the crappy pictures I got with my camera phone, but I dont know how to as I can't just link them from sprint (it wont let me).
