I'm just curious what drives people to feel they need to key peoples cars/trucks. Me and some friends were out at a club not bothering anyone come out to find my truck keyed all the way down both sides. After calling the cops they told me a bunch of people had there cars keyed that night. Over 2k worth of paint dmg cause some assholes thought it would be cool or something. Not many things I can think of that are more disrespectful

i can certainly relate to your thoughts man. my old car was completely ruined from someone keying it. it honestly looked like someone used a steak knife or ice pick or something, it gashed the metal. granted my old car was a)my first car b)a piece of shit, it was still my first car and i cared about it. Lets just hope karma comes their way den, cause those fuckers deserve it. Nice truck though besides that!

A car should be made with hundreds of tiny holes on the outside. Whenever the car is scratched or struck, sensors tell the car to spray and bright pink paint thru said holes.

I know this will never happen, but wouldnt it make it so much to catch offenders?

It's pretty discouraging buying a nice vehicle knowing that random acts of theft and vandalism can't be prevented if you do anything other than drive from a locked garage to locked garage.

Pretty sick. Those are some deep scratches. Were you in a bar parking lot or were you parked elsewhere. Where ever you parked, were there signs stating to park at your own risk or anything along those lines?

Sorry Den That is soooo incredibly shitty. My car was keyed at the end of last year, so I feel your pain. They scratched down the passenger side and then left multiple gashes on the trunk lid. It still pisses me off to think about it. I will never understand what possesses a person to do that to someone else's property.

Luckily my insurance paid for most of my repairs, but what a pain in the ass all because someone wanted to be an ignorant fuckhead.

I drive a convertable and I came out of a bachlor party a couple of years ago to see that some fuckers had flung cigarettes onto the seats. I had 6-7 burns that went through the seat cushions on both the driver and passenger sides.

I think it has to do with where your vehicle is parked. People that hang out at bars just tend to do more stupid shit like that. Sure, it can happen anywhere, but being at a bar, concert, ect. considerably increases your chances that some asshat is going to fuck with your car.

It shouldn't matter were you park people should have some common fucking decency to not fuck with other peoples stuff god people in genral piss me off.

I would talk to the bar owner or manager. Don't demand money out of them but tell them that you won't go to their bar anymore unless they put up security cameras. Cameras are not that expensive and can lower the cost of the bar owners insurance. Hell they could put up signs and fake cameras and probably get the same effect.

My car was keyed a couple months ago with 2 slashed tires for good measure. It's not like this didn't happen when we were younger, but it's gotten worse. American society is crumbling, and the MTV generation is leading the way.

That sucks man Someone posted above about going to talk to the bar owner about cameras. That would not be a bad idea.. We had problems with lots of vandalism at our construction trailer at the job site I used to work at, and we put up fake cameras and it didn't happen again.

On a side note, I hate trucks, I think they are country as hell, and I also don't think you should have one unless you need it on a day to day basis(and I mean NEED) , not just when you go to your cabin or help someone move. I also think it should be illegal with a fine of no less than 10,000 dollars to put any kind of asthetic modifications on a truck, especially rims- it looks retarded as all hell.

Must be a FL thing. I live in Orlando and some cars outside our TKD Dojang were keyed recently...cops said it had been a problem lately.
