Ok, I have recently been downloading movies (from morpheus... yes, I know it sucks) and burning them.
The problem I am having is the quality. It looks fine on my computer, but once it gets stretched out to my t.v. size, you can see the pixels.

Some have been better then others, what I am wondering is if there is some way for me to eliminate this problem. Maybe some kind of software or something ? If it helps at all, I am using nero something rather express 2.

Either get the entire DVD (iso and not a avi/mpg rip) or buy it. That's about the only way it will look halfway decent viewing it like that.

It all depends on the source and encoding. Sources range from a camcordered movie in the theater to a rip of the commercially released DVD.

You can get a decent copy of a DVD using DIVX or XVID but it still depends on what settings the person used that did the encoding.

Typically, a decent quality divx will consist of two ~700mb files for a 90-120 minute movie.

Even original DVDs look just OK compared to HD on a big screen so don't expect much.
