Ripping from DVD audio

I have a DVD audio disc that I would like to make mp3s from for my portable player but the ripping software I normally use (cakewalk) doesn't recognize it, anyone have any ideas? Also is there any software that exists to pull the audio from a regular DVD to convert to MP3s? I have a couple concert/etc DVD's I wouldn't mind having the audio from on my player.
