Beta tested the first one. That is all I needed to see of that shithole game.

Turbine/MS put in everything the AC players requested and took out what they didn't like.
The only thing they may have screwed up though is that this game is actually MORE boring than the original one.
Didn't think it could be possible.

OK I am going against the tide. I will get it sometime this week. The main factor I liked about it was tht I could actually put it down when I wanted (unlike Evercack). During the beta I went with a pure ranger type char and actually liked it. They made that class WAY overpowered I could kill stuff that a coworker couldnt and not get touched, and he was about 5 lvls higher and pure melee.I know what is going to happen though , I'll play it for a couple months and get bored of it. But I cannot get back into EQ now (my acc is officially closed now) and I dont want to pay for 2 games (I'm a cheap bastard and a single dad).
Main reason for buying it will be something to do on my days off when my son is at school, and the fact that I stated before , you can actually put the game down when you want to.

I was thinking about giving it a shot as well. Mainly because SWG won't be out until at least March and COH won't be out, well, prolly ever. EQ was great when it was new and fresh. Anyone going to make the switch to EQ2 when it is released?

I betea tested AC2. It was pretty fun. Just not as immersive and not as easy to communicate with others as is EQ.
I was toying with the idea of playing it till VI sent me a EQ trilogy key for free and physically forced me to start playing EQ again.

I played the beta for a while. Graphics are decent, but I HATED the character modeling. The races aren't too appealing to me either.
Gameplay? It got boring....real fast.
What's the next MMORG up of interest? SW:G?
