I have been wanting to learn both Swedish and Danish for quite some time. I will definately be looking to take some classes at the local CC when I have the $$$.

For now, does anyone have some good links to free resources in at least remedial study? Even a primer in either language would be fantastic.

Thanks. I think my language skills are as follows:

Skölpadda
Spasser
Luder
Lort
Din fede bondeknold

That is about it.

Oh! Audio would be a huge +, but anything helpful would be great. :)

Sorry, can't help you out..

First thing I though of when I saw the link was the movie:

Better Off Dead

it's 4am and this post probably makes no sense.

Audiobooks, good idea Wonko! I need to scour the library and find some lessons. :)

The Pimsleur language programs are decent, afaik. Give me a few days and I'll see what I can come up with - my mom teaches Danish as a secondary language, so I'll hit her up for info.

I saw some Danish, Finnish & Swedish Pimsleur files posted recently in the alt.binaries.world-languages newsgroup. If your news server has decent retention, you may still be able to catch them.
