meh I had planned to watch that if I could find it here in the US.. neither are teams I really care that much for, but I am surprised Liverpool won. Congrats to my fellow Norwegian Riise!

i didn't tune in until they were going into the first overtime.

that shootout was intense. the liverpool goalie was bouncing around like he had springs in his cleats haha. but i guess it worked! the last shot by milan was lame though, he kicked it right at the keeper wtf.

Sorry, AC Milan - a noble effort, for sure, but still not the greatest choke in the history of sports. You'll have to try just a bit harder to surpass the Yankees. :D

I only saw some of the game as it was replayed last night (fell asleep watching). Can't wait to catch the whole thing: coming back from 3-0 must be like when the Bill came back against the Oilers (down by 31 in the playoffs).

hehe i turned it off at halftime. 3-0 i thought it was over, especially with some of the defenders Milan has.

pretty amazing come back.

Insane that Milan couldn't hold on to a 3-0 lead, with defenders like they have. Maldini, Nesta and Cafu should have carried that home. Dudek in the goal was hilarious, reminded me of Bruce Grobbelaar back in the old days, he did the same jumping-jacks thing.

Technically, Pirlo's penalty (Milan's second) should have been retaken - Dudek left the goal line waaaaaaaaaay before Pirlo touched the ball. But I'm guessing the referee was scared of pissing Liverpool off more - he gave Milan a huge gift in not sending Gattuso off when he committed the penalty.
