WHat's Akebono doing in K-1? Well K-1 pays well :D

Akebono joined K-1 a while ago and fought OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of freak matchups, VS Bob Sapp, Kakuda, Musashi etc etc

Lots of the Japanese like the David VS Goliath matchups so it's popular.

To me , its a circus, K-1 lost OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of credibility with me when they started with these crazy matches, still it's funny to see every now and then.

Bob Sapp tho was successful in his first freakmatch VS Ernesto Hoost believe it or not!

Why are they in K-1? Because it pays well (both for them and K-1 due to popularity).

Dont want to see them in a regular K-1 tournament though but as a Freaky Supermatch every now and then is ok for me.

Kwon, do you have a link for the vital statistics of that Blue Giant? I can't find him on K-1's official site. I'd like to know that guy's record and how big that motherfucker really is.

Akebono is about 6'7" or 6'8" (~203cm), so my guess is roughly 225cm and about 170kg.
