Sometime soon (most likely this evening) the board will be offline for some amount of time while I update to the latest and greatest version, attempt to reinstall our existing mods, and possibly add some new stuff that I've been meaning to install for a while.

Just an FYI in case you try to get on this evening and can't, it will start no earlier than 7-8pm EST. There's also a decent chance that sometime between now and then I'll get sidetracked huntin' poon or boozing it up, so it may be postponed to anytime through the weekend.

Does this upgrade mean we finally get FULL LYNX COMPATIBILITY??????????????

While I'm still up in the air about providing full LYNX compatability, it should make the board more secure as well as *hopefully* making it easier to add mods in the future.

That is one of my biggest bitches with Phpbb. Every update you have to basicaly go line for line, if you have any mods at all. But hey it is free

Yes! Unleash the 1920x1200 pics! ...maybe not that big but it's going to be nice to be able post a few select images here and there without the thread s t r e t c h!

I suspect the NWS section will take advantage of this first. As with everything else, pr0n is the most likely early adopter of new technology.

VV bank AND birthdays?

Birthdays is the specific one I was thinking of... dunno if we'll do bank again, VVs were ridiculous when people had a billion of them in the bank.

The 1K VV cost for Name changing shenanigans is still a little too expensive for full fledged title harrassment on a weekly basis.

Plus those not about at the time when the bank went insane lost out and are forever stuck in the realms of 300vv's!

yeah, i didn't end up being bored at home like i thought i would. i'll try to get to it this weekend sometime.

In the process of updating now, for the time being only the blue theme will be available, I'll re-add red asap.

Okay, VVs, Shop and Lottery all back up and running, and I added a birthday mod back in there. I think the data was saved from when we had a birthday mod a long time ago, but you might want to check your profile to make sure.
