I'm just curious, anyone here drive an Acura TL 2005? I test drove one over the weekend and was quite impressed. I wanted to know what others thought. I asked a couple people that I saw with one on the road and everyone loves it so far.

My old man has the '05 MDX with all it's packages and such.... won't let anyone else in the family drive it and he loves his Acura so much that my next car is going to be the Acura RSX Type-S

And he wants to get my mom the TL, so yeah if you can get my dad to like one brand so much there's gotta be somethin bout it

plus they look so damn good

Honda makes one good brand of luxury cars ~

plus its built on a Honda Accord design, which means you can bank on 200,000 miles.

Ya Acura is basically a slightly better Honda.

Doesn't mean they're not nice, as they definitely are.

It's a honda, you can't go wrong. But I'd rather have an accord Hybrid for 3 grand less and get 42% better gas milage then the TL any day of the week.

What's the general opinion of the 'certified pre-owned' thing that they (and a few others companies) have? Not really in the market for a new car at the moment, since I only drive about 100 miles a month, but for future reference. I'm not one that has to have the latest model out there.

The certified preowned vehicles have to pass this 150 point inspection, the real bonus of it is they will, for usually 1595 extra(talk them down in finance, it really only costs about 995 or 1095), slap a warrenty for 7 years/100,000 miles from the date of initial purchase, allowing you to take advantage of the depreciation from driving a new car off the lot and still getting kickass 100,000 mile coverage.
