Everquest Freezing

I just recently came upon a problem, whenever I go to load Everquest, my computer completely freezes at the SOE Screen, then temporarily unfreezes, then repeats itself. Anyone experienced this problem and/or know what I could do to fix it? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
