Not sure if the clip is ws or not since this dumb ass government computer won't play it. But, the links there are certainly NOT work friendly.

And that should be bleeding..

Not really

I dunno if its real or not, but it doesnt have to be bleeding. If the cut is clean enough and doesnt tear, there wouldnt be bleeding, especially if the scissors werent moved. Think of a balloon, if you get a needle and stick the soft part of it, air wont leak out. Sorry, inner pre-med comming out :( I had a really detailed and long account of why this wouldnt happen... but its too late.

Yeah, but it's not like the scissors were carefully and precisely placed into the guy's arm. The guy who threw the scissors was holding them by the "blade", so it had to be spinning in the air. Therefore, it wouldn't have gone straight into the other guy's arm like that, there would certainly be enough tearing from the rotation of the scissors to cause a noticeable amount of bleeding.

It is a puncture wound and would most likely not bleed.

I still maintain it's a fake because of the discoloration of that section of his arm...Look at it when hes standing mostly in the camera with the scissors there. Also, I think they don't wobble enough.

i think the scissors sticking in his arm would cause the discoloration on their own. my guess is it's the body's natural defense of drawing blood away from the injury.

I've never heard of such a defense. It wouldn't happen so fast either.

The body will be pushing blood towards an injury so that the blood will clot.

um, that seems counter productive

I've never heard of the body's ability to route blood one way or the other. As far as I understand it it just flows out to the parts that need the oxygen and back through the heart to the lungs.

I've heard of an increase in the general flow: IE your heart rate jumps or falls...but not a routing to or from any particular limb.

i know in cold weather the body keeps blood closer to vital organs to make sure they get priority and that is why your fingers, toes, and nose go first.

Ever heard of scabs? Unless you have a desire to become anemic or just like to watch your blood flow out a wound as small as a paper cut, bloodclotting is far from counterproductive.

I'm pretty sure this is accomplished by decreasing the heart rate and the flow or something to that effect.

and i know for a FACT that the body can draw blood into my gigantic penis for the purpose of reproduction.

Posted: March 25, 2005, 6:58 pm
by Lohrno
This is true, but I'm not sure the exact mechanism. I would suspect it has something that has to do with a hormone and a muscle or gland of some sort. IE: It was already flowing there, but a valve probably opened. I'm pretty sure there aren't such valves all over the body.

The other problem with your argument is the use of the word GIGANTIC. I'd say more accurate adjectives would be microscopic, inconsequential, tiny, Subatomic, etc.
