While smooth is GREAT - porcupine nuts (you know, that freshly grown in stuble-feeling) are complete suck. It's gotta be all or none on the maintenance for this kind of grooming.

Just some female advice to anyone thinking - hmmmmmmm ;)

Well, if ya gonna do it...do it right, I always say. Hard to ask her to shave it bare and then not be man enough to do the same. Besides, Sirensa is right..smooth IS good:)

edit: forgot to look down to spell Sirensa right..sue me

I shaved my balls for a girlfriend... although it went rather well and she liked, well, the regrowth was a menace. "Hey Rich, why are you shifting around so much?" Yeah.

I don't really care if a guy shaves or not altho it helps if he likes his balls licked during felatio. Many guys don't and I don't mind a pube in my mouth once in awhile. I've been told that it makes sex a little better, especially if both parties are shaved. I can say from experience, it does create a little extra friction, but may not be worth all the upkeep. The regrowth for some is really horrible.

I prefer men fully shaved. It's more hygienic as well, for both genders.

Spitting out pubes after going down isn't really my idea of an erotic adventure into sexual discovery either.

As I stated before I find a fully shorn scrodum is quite comfortable.

The really bad part about thread is that I don't see a good showing of females. Come on ladies, you know you want to hit that saucy REPLY button ;) Daddy like.

TheCerano....it's scrotum!

As far as this poll goes, keeping it trimmed is cool, but I'm not quite sure I'd like to see my boyfriend totally hairless "down there".

You need to know how to make yo ho happy! If she wants em shaved well then by god man shave that shit and hit it! If she dont care, then hit it anyway!

And nobody here see's the disadvantage by waving a razor around your happy section??

Posted: November 13, 2002, 10:07 am
by Akaran_D
Oh, there are disadvantages. Getting one's scrotum caught in the razor is one of them. However, if you are careful, don't sneeze, and don't panic, this won't happen. And if you truly trust your female companion, you can let her do it to you - face it, she can probably see it better than you can.

This isnt another one of those, "All men should be circumsized" things is it?
I cant really see any advantages, unless ur other half feels you really should shave....

It feels better shaved, IMO, by far. EVERYTHING feels better.. I surprised my fiancee with it when I did myslf first.. she got hooked on keeping me shaved soon after.

Trim trim trim , set the clippers on the lowest setting (with gaurd on) and clip away. I've never actually took a rozor to the boys. But with the least amount of hair I have ever had a week or so ago , made for some really FUN and sloppy sex. I think I was more wet than she was afterwords. Side not , Gals should shave all ov down below and leave a landing strip

Both shaved> all

Just feels bettah.. wetter, slicker...and freshly shaved the nerve endings smile  Besides, I don't think either sex is highly aroused by the sound of spitting pubes out of your mouth...

Not true. People who keep themselves clean in general will not have a hygeine problem whether they have pubic hair or not. A person that sweats OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS in the pubic region may develop an odor similar to the odor underneath one's sweaty armpits, but thats about it.

In fact, pubic hair hair is a natural protectant against things that could cause abrasion or infection.

See http://www.wdxcyber.com/nvulva08.htm

"Do not shave the vulvar area. The pubic hair protects against chemicals making contact with the skin"

Or http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Vil ... 05-00.html

"Pubic hair protects the somewhat fragile lips of the vagina, and even the clitoris, from friction caused by our clothing."

Irritation can lead to yeast infections in women. Anyone who has had one or been in a relationship with a woman who has, knows how seemingly "un-hygeinic" it is.

Now before this becomes a big argument, I am NOT saying that shaving will inevitably lead to yeast infections, I'm just pointing out that you are spreading misinformation. Having pubic hair does not mean you are at risk of contracting infection or bacteria If you can't wipe your ass without getting shit in your pubic hair, then you have hygeine issues not related to the presence/absence of pubic hair.

The question is what do you use when performing the maintenance?

The Gilette Mac3 works quite nicely(new blade every time of course).

Hairless pubic areas are for pedophiles.

GO NATURAL!

*shrug* My gyno tells me that it's more hygenic. No offense, but I'll take his word over Geocities. I'll read some more about it tho!

Its not geocities if you look at the article. The last quote happens to be from my idol, Dr. Drew Pinsky (in a Cosmo interview), the ultimate sexpert next to Dr. Ruth.

I'm sorry.
You see, when I was 15 and rather impressionable (I can't believe I am telling this) I was taken to a stand up act done by Paulie Shore. Pretty good act, my family got me drunk off of long island iced teas. Well he had a bit about how the ladies like the sheer sack, so I tried it.
Well winter was setting on, and I did this is a very warm, relaxing bath.
I stepped out, thinking about how smooth they feel. 5 minutes later, WHAM, the itching started, as the hair that used the warm water to relax into my skin, as those same haris ripped out of what was NOT their set pores. When the cold air hit them, it was painful, a pain that did not stop for 2 months.
Never again. I will trim, shave certain areas, but the bearings themselves are off limits.

If we want our girls to shave their alley cats, we have to be even and do the same, my old gf asked me to do it, and heh even though we don't see each other anymore, the hair is no more =P

Coming up next week!!
Poll:
Do women like your unit
A.) Tattooed (Just think of all the neat things you could say without saying a word)
B.) Pierced (OWWWWWWWW!)
C.) Both (Think Im going to pass out from imagining the pain now)
