Funny, but not really an accurate represtation of how the DNS query flow would actually happen.

His local nameserver would not have told him to talk to the remote nameserver. His local nameserver would have gotten the answer for him.

But as I said still pretty funny. Wonder if I could use that for some of the folks at work who have zero clue about DNS. :)

And because Mr. Local Nameserver is such a nice guy (deep down he really is), he will even hold on to the answer for a while (as long as the authoritative source says he can) because he knows that tmbg37 will soon ask again, and the computar will have forgotten...again. :P
