Apparently it tests how fast your brain switches context between the left and right. Slower for maths types, faster for dancers (jocks?)

If you're *really* slow can be a symptom of manic depression, or you're into meditation =)

It only worked for me if I concentrated on the bottom one, still cool tough.

Although none of them dissappeared for me something else happened.
The one I was staring at got larger then smaller.

OK I just redid it with the top left one like they said and they did dissappear,I scored a 9

works for me looking at any of them, 1 or both of the others will disappear, reappear... really doesn't seem like that big a deal, because when you're focusing that intently on a small area, peripheral vision gets a lot closer to center, and the blue dots swirling all over is enough to confuse the eye when they pass under the yellow.

My thoughts are:

I thought the fun part was that, after taking the test, the paragraphs below seemed to be extremely bright because of looking at the black image for so long.

I don't find this test to be valid. The dots can be induced to disappear quickly (or not!) once you understand how it works. I scored a 0 and a 9, in two tests with a little break in between the two tests.

Cute illusion, but weak science.

Yeah, maybe it's just impossible to duplicate this test by yourself over the internet, but I can basically control what score I get.

It helps if you have walleyed vision.

I'm not sure what the hoopla is on this. It's like one of those pictures you stare at and see the sailboat. You basically need to kind of focus beyond the image to make the dots disappear...not sure what that proves. Like the russian slut, I can control either seeing or not seeing them.

You dumb bastard.

It's not a sailboat;

It's a schooner.
(Misquote. .But someone was going to do it sooner or later!)

Yeah, I don't trust my own results either. But, without pre-coaching on what results may mean, you get trends and tendancies, and that's about all medical science ever comes up with. =)

Cool, It worked right away for me. Saw the two yellows dissapating and then completely disappear.

One turned into Angelina Jolie's bottom lip so I jerked off into a sock.
