in old EQ the rule was 1.5 times level was OK for grouping. Seems the same in EQ2, at level 12 I couldn't group with a 19 bard for quest credit but a 17 caster was OK.

Thats almost the exact levels I was hopeing for. We got a 36 ranger and a 27 swash and shammy. Im hoping they can group together

In EQ 1 the level difference was highest level divided by 2 +10.

So in EQ 1, a level 60 could group with level 40. 60/2=30 +10 = 40

*IF* EQ 2 follows the same calcs, 36 could group with 28 and they would get exp.

I can verify that when in raid with level 40, I got exp at 30. Still follows same pattern.
