OU-USC

Taking OU straight up, no spread. I'm willing to bet 100 VVs against whoever wants to take USC. I only have like 300 some VVs and have already bet 200 against Pher, so 100 more against first person to take USC and post on this topic.

I will take it

I encourage others to step forward, especially people who think OU will win. I think we're outnumbered on VV

I'll match anyone who wants to take OU straight up. First posts, first served. I'll take up to a total of 1000 VVs combined in bets.

Who wants to give me their VVs! : )

Edit: I would be taking USC in the bets. (to make my post a little clearer)

I'll put 1000 VVs on SC, Winnow. :)

I'll wait to talk shit or avoid posting tomorrow. :P

I can't stand SC so I'm going with OU.

SC's chances got hit bad with the injury to White. I'm still hoping they can pull it off though since I can't stand OU.

Rapidly getting out of hand... 8)

Judging by what's happened so far, Auburn should have been in this game instead (says the Big 12 fan).

Ok if this continues can we set a new rule.

If there is a controversy involving 3 teams vying for 2 spots in the Championship game, any team from the Big 12 is to be automatically eliminated.

We can call this rule the Oklahoma/Nebraska Rule.

Nice to see the supposedly superior Big 12 conference prepared OK for the championship so well. I can see what you mean now. If USC was in a tough conference it might have been 100-10 instead of the much closer game we are seeing now.

Highlight of the game so far:

Ashlee Simpson getting booed during her half time "performance."

hah I noticed that as well!

Seconded! The real winners are the fans that are there to boo her. She sounded horrible. In other news, water is still wet.

The losers are the poor backup performers who had to support her, and got booed because of her.

The best part of this game is that I will hopefully not have to hear anything more from whiny Auburn fan about how they're the real #1. I'll entertain arugments that the PAC-10 is overrated, but SC is not.

Would still have liked to see Auburn vs USC like I've wanted all along! Auburn would not have been blown out like this.

Bah, I thought I'd get one or two people to bet on the Sooners.

PS: Auburn: this is how you win impressively in a bowl game.

I have to agree with Winnow's sentiment. Last night's game was one of the least impressive win's I've seen in a while. It could so easily have been a blowout in either direction that the politicking done by Auburn after the game seemed a bit ridiculous.

Agreed. USC obviously deserves their position in the BCS rankings. In my mind, Auburn is a superior team to OU (AU would only be trailing by 17 atm hahah) , and I'd have rather seen them playing in this game, but no one is even close to USC at this point.

I'm a transplanted Nebraska (maybe we'll have a winning season next year) fan, living in Alabama. You should all be glad you only have to listen to the Aubie whining from afar!

These fucking bitches. Worst 30 bucks I've ever spent at a bar, just watching these cunts suck shit. Who the fuck fields a punt at the five? Throwing the ball over the middle off your back foot? This isn't the team I've watched all year.

The fielding a punt at the 5 I'll give you, but as to the rest of your post...

I agree, USC's defense is really good.

USCs defense is really really good. I'll give them that. Still, I would expect this game to be somewhat close. OU losing to USC is something I can easily handle, but this is just gross.

I agree. I did expect SC to win. I did expect it to be convincing, but I definitely didn't expect what I would consider a blowout.

I can't take your 100 vv's, that was painful enough for you to watch. Go ahead and keep them, maybe you can buy a quarterback that does not choke with them.

I on the other hand will take my VV's cause you are a gnome

Offensive line is gone, lots of seniors will be leaving. Will be interesting to see if Paul Thompson can shine next year at QB. I've been a big supporter of him, since he's a mobile QB. Would love to see more options ran. Oh well there is next year. Thanks for the VVs

Here's the end of Ashlee Simpson's performance and the booing. It seems like I've been seeing her everywhere now, even though it's pretty much unanimous that she can't sing worth crap. What idiot booked her for the halftime show of a football bowl game anyways?

There's a close up of her face the moment she realizes she's getting booed instead of the cheering she was expecting...beautiful.

And the actual game...I'm torn. I'm a huge Texas fan so it was a little nice seeing OU get humiliated, but on the other hand it made the Big 12 look bad.

Where's that pirate dance gif of her linked on this site on another thread? That would be appropriate here.
