I'm downloading this game. It can't be any worse than WoW and it's free!

Hah, I want to see what happens when the game dies out like EQ has and instead of losing PP some guy's $20,000 investment is nothing more than a bit of harddrive space....

Well some people ( like Eudas ) were able to make a living from selling items, plat and powerleveling. Enough money to pay rent and utilities + so they could spend all their time playing. So it would'nt surprise me if this guy was able to pull it off for a while.

Not bad. It took about 4 hours to download the game as the max speed seemed to be around 60kb/sec for the 500mb or so download.
It expands into about 1.5GB installed.
Graphics aren't too shabby and the UI is on the level of EQ or WoW. It seems clean and well designed.
Character generation (appearance only) is good with quite a few attributes to adjust using sliders. (on level of EQ2 and better than the cheasy WoW character generation)
I saw messages of people killing mobs and receiving "PED" which is the currency so it appears you can make money without having to spend any. I need to search for a newbie guide and see if I can get rolling without paying anything for a weapon. There are bank tellers in the game that you can use real credit cards to get PED. lol. It reminded me of the fake EQ screenshot of Stormhammer asking the player if they really wanted to loot and providing a window for CC info.
You need a valid email address for the verification email crap that's always needed these days for anything you do online (including VV!) but you can make up the rest of your info so you can check this out without much hassle.
Hit "H" when you pop into the game for a help window to get you started. Not bad for a free game. It's better than SWG for sure. Download it overnight while you snooze and have a look. Cyber your way to fame and fortune!

Heh, I beta'd this game last year.
Unless they did some major changes/overhauls, it's a complete load of crap. Terrible game.

Yes, there were major change/overhauls
Well, the game is based out of Sweden. You can only expect so much! At least the intro movie on their home page sports a swedish babe in a snazzy space outfit.
