Very cool.
Farstorm has reformed on MM with some of the old and several of the post-kratos members.

Fun times fer all.
Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan
I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

ooooh, nice nice : )

I filled out the guild app to see if I would qualify:

1. Have you steamrolled in the past?
yes

2. Can you cyber and play EQ2 effectively at the same time so it won't interfere with our raids?
yes

3. If our guild takes shit can you defend its honor on message boards?
yes

4. Why would you make a good member of Sons of the Tomb?
I don't want to toot my own horn. I have plenty ex guild members and officers that will vouch for my abilities and knack for bringing harmony to a guild.

Personal references:

Thess
Leyor
Karae
kyoukan
Dregor
------------------------
Looks like a good guild shaping up : ) Is the guild SOE website always available to the guild members or does that cost extra? (ability to compare your guild to other guids etc). I liked the personal stat web pages in beta. It makes the game more interesting when you can easily compare accomplishments.

If it does cost anything it won't be more than a buck or two. I should go the Xanupox route and skim cash and items to pay for my account! Or a new car.

Knowing that I am the biggest ass in the guild is a bonus.....means you can probably gather that there won't be steamrolling or general asshattery this time around. I would say as a general consensus....loot is secondary to the people getting along and having fun.

Is the guild based on the Qeynos side? I like the Qeynos city better but would play a rat. I didn't get far enough to try out the betrayal quest during beta but there were already pretty detailed guides posted for it.

Even as much of a reject as you are, you would still have to fill out the application.

I just started out on Befallen a couple of days ago, so far i'm a level 9 Priest, headed the Shaman Route.

If I can catch up with you guys soon, I would like to join up, if your looking for another former Veeshanite.

Give me a tell as Owenn if you get a few minutes.

So far the priest I made is kicking some ass.

As long as I use my HOs, I can solo whites with ease, I haven't tried anything above that yet, but then again, I am so far doing a lot of questing.

I messed around in teh Caves last night and the xp wasn't bad fighting white cons by myself.

I am enjoying this game a lot so far.

Glad to see that old disagreements aren't keeping people apart, hope you guys have a lot of fun!

However I'm sure you won't have as much fun as we well and are in WoW

Thus far WoW is everything I wanted EQ to be, I hope EQ2 is something similar for you guys. If you decide it's not though, feel free to join the Horde on Whisperwind!

There is absolutely no way on this earth that I would ever play WoW. Not even if they gave it away and made it free monthly play. Especially with Vanguard and D&D Online coming out in 2005. If EQ 2 was to somehow disappoint greatly in the end-game (which having their experience from EQ 1 to rely on I don't see happening), I would move to The Vision 2.0 and play Vanguard.

Coolness. I just discovered the feature on the EQII Guild site that allows you to talk in guildchat while sitting at work.

This may cause even greater procrastination than I already have.

Can you really chat in /gu from outside the game? That would be a very cool feature IMHO for teambuilding!

I found this as well, I think it's pretty funny :) Yes it's a big plug for WoW but click on the link and see who the one of the sponsors of the site is... I wonder what SOE thinks about this review with their AD on it...

Whats the big deal, its a site that reviews a bunch of games, not a WOW plug. SOE wouldn't think anything of it.
