I didn't realize this until I read a post by Blackguard on the EQ2 boards, but apparently, if you target a groupmate and hit attack, it auto assists onto the mob; conversely, if you target a mob and cast a benifical spell, it will autotarget and heal whomever the mob is hitting.

I knew about the beneficial spell thing but not the auto assist one.

Good stuff IMO.
