Has anyone finished this quest yet? I'm curious to know how much more I have to go in it.

So far, I have:
killed 7 tomb guards, 5 zombies, 6 guards, 7 proficients, 6 adepts, 5 more proficients, 8 cubes, 5 more cubes, and now it's asking me to put down 10 Large Vermin.

Maybe I'm a bit crazy, but DAMN this quest is taking forever. Has anyone finished it,a nd if so, what else do I have to wax on the way and was the reward worth it?

Is this the book quest from Sage Indis? The reward is the book in its entirety, something you can place in your house or sell for 37silver and 50 copper.

Yes, this is the book. I did the Architecture Quest, and sold the book after for 60 some copper.. it doubled my current cash.

What else is after the 10 rats? The queen herself, or does it end there?

If you think that's bad, the Miners book 1 quest in BB was 10 pages long... From miners to excivators back to miners... lol

The book ends with the ten rats.

There is a painting found somewhere in VS that you activate, and then you go through an access quest which involves killing her. I am not finished with this quest yet, but when I am, I'll let you know.

What does the painting look like?

Just a small one at the end of a corridor. There is usually a festering zombie guarding him, along with two of the crumbling sentries or some such. I was 19 and soloed the group (with great difficulty). Take a group to activate it.

This may be the first quest that I will delete. The damn thing is never ending.

Took down the rat Queen this weekend and won her boots. I'm very pleased.

We had the Queen Beaten. All rats were gone, queen was mezzed and primed for slaughtered, then ***POOF*** she timed out and vanished
