Falcons secondary isnt the greatest, but somebody is going to get sacked a bunch in their NFL debut Sunday.

The Bucs were TRIPLE teaming Coleman last week, he still got 2 sacks, and the team had 7.

When he starts, the Falcons avg 4.3 sacks per game, 13.5 points allowed, and 275 yards allowed.

I wish Kurt Warner was starting only so we'd have 2 defensive touchdowns (fumbled recoveries) by halftime.

If Eli figures out that pass catching tight ends are a QB's best friend, the Falcons will get LIT THE FUCK UP. There isn't a single player on yer defense that can match-up, one-on-one, with Shockey. And let's not forget Tiki. Eli is going to have it pretty easy, IMO.

Bertrand Berry baby! He was a great FA pickup for the Cardinals and sacked Kurt Warner 4 times himself last Sunday to combine with two other sacks to total 6 on Warner. Bertrand has 9 sacks on the season.

It's been awhile since I've seen positive things from the Cardinals. They look like they've got a solid foundation on both offense and defense to build. Coach Denny Green had a killer draft. Darnell Dockett, Carlos Dansby, Larry Fitzgerald and our new Center have all played very well and start. I feel confident the Cardinals will be playoff bound next year and should end up near 8-8 this year...presently at 4-5.

True Winnow, always keep that positive attitude about your home team. Steelers were crap last year, now look...just keep the faith. You may need some more Penn Staters on your team though...

I blame that more on Kurt than on the Giant's front 5. Shockey hasn't gotten more than a couple receptions in any of the Giants' losses. I think Warner is still too focused on throwing down the field, and not focused enough of moving the chains.

I don't know, as a bonnifide Giants fans, it's really about 80-20 o-line/Warner. Out of last weeks game, there was really only one sack (out of fucking 6) that i could attribute to Warner holding on too long.

If Tiki and Shockey can get their routes, beating a blitz (and they will be blitzed to hell and back) can be done. i have no freaking clue how it's going to play out though. Giants have a tendancy to play big against big teams and losing to teams in glorious eyelid-batting fashion.

Jeremy Shockey is about as overrated as football players get. He's a good tight end, but he's probably not one of the top 5. A guy who isn't even in the same league as Antonio Gates or Alge Crumpler is not going to single-handedly beat a 7-2 team.

i was about to say, there will be a stud tight end in the game between ATL and NYG, but it won't be Shockey. Crumpler is way better.

The falcons lost, at home, to Detroit.

they are undefeated w/ Coleman in the lineup though!

Tony Gonzalez is still the king of TEs but Antonio Gates and Alge Crumpler are in the same ball park now.

The reason I put Gonzalez ahead is that I watch all of his games and he still makes the most amazing acrobatic catches out of all TEs and I watch his excellent blocking as well.

Antonio Gates rules. Went to class with him at Kent State when he played basketball there. Pretty amazing that he hasn't played football in a long time before he got picked up in the NFL.
