Flint Mi November 12 concert at The Machine Shop

Okay Crossfade was headlining, and Zen and Dixie Hustler are local while Submerged is touring with Creed part 2 ( Alter Bridge)

Zen opened, and rocked pretty solid, mostly actual rocking with no rap metal BS except for one song when they handed the mic to a roadie who rapped some BS. Lead singer had some girly peroxide blonde thing going on and when not singing he had a whiny guy from Idaho whose momma beat him too much voice. Overall C

Dixie Hustler: A little Blues Traveller meets Led Zeppelin, and not that bad a combo, no real stand out songs, but nothing stood out as bad. I would see them again if the time place were convenient.

Sumbmerged came on, and announced they were from Florida, and they were here to show Michigan how to rock. Counting the rock bands from Florida versus the ones from Michigan, I would say that was like Bandits teaching FoH how to beat an uberMob. Next they started playing and I wish he had spent nmore boring ass time screaming in the mike trying some pump up bs than he did screaming. Every seen one of those things showing Vanilla Ice in his new hardcore rock band? Yep these guys are stealing his act and he needs to be pissed, since he did not have much of one to steal. They sucked so bad that it made the hot chicks in the crowd COVER their tits. F-

Crossfade - Damn the song Cold really rocks, and they were pretty solid overall. solid guitar work, better than average drumming, a little more rap metally than I like but decent music overall. Too bad they waited to do Cold as an encore though, because it is hands down their best song. I hope they build on that and do not one hit wonder land it. B-

Submersed is from Orlando. I've seen them play a few times around town... mostly acoustic stuff. I thought they were pretty good. Hollow, In Due Time, and At Peace are their better songs.

Have to agree with Cold being an awesome song. One of my favorites atm.
