Redeeming J-Boots

Can someone please tell me how to get my jboots in game? I've seen all the talk about how to do it if you didn't already put your code in, etc. But who is the npc you talk to, to get them in game?

Hasten Bootstrutter?
In EQ1 you didn't need to talk to an NPC to claim in game items for buying the box for an expansion, just type /claim while logged onto the character that you wanted to get the item. I'd assume this works the same way.

Nah. It was for pre-ordering and getting the Starter Kit.

They'll help but it's not like getting JBoots in EQ. Everyone in EQ2 has a boost ability that uses power and slowly drains while you are in sprint mode.
I think it's great. In town when you know you won't be needing power for spells, you can speed around town...or when travelling in general hitting the booster rockets from time to time or if you agroed something during your travels. Your power goes down fast enough that you can't abuse it too much.

mine was ordered saturday, wonder when it will come in!
Iksar berserker i have decided on, unless im told of a "Warrior" type that out dmgs a berserker...guess i still have a little while

They aren't anything like the j-boots that are in EQ 1. It is more like the special effect you got in CoH for pre-ordering. If you think you are getting essential gear for pre-ordering, then you have been smoking too much crack.
