What gives you goosebumps?
I can just thinking of touching cotton and I get goosebumps. I could be in a sauna and be uber hot I would still get goosebumps.
For my brother it's touching a peach.
Thinking or hearing fingernails on a blackboard does it for me as well. But not as much as touchign cotton.
Anyone else?

The thought of running my teeth on a popsicle or ice....or anyone chewing ice....uggg. Give me a nasty spine tingle too....even just thinking about it.

this one is going to be lengthy, but you asked.
there is a little town called janesville About 20 miles away from my girlfriends school.
In this town, there was a kid who got picked on really harshly by his classmates. He finally one day decided to end it, and hung himself in the attic of his parents house.
In the wake of this, his parents thought that in order to remind the kids in janesville what they had done to their son, they would do something.
This something turned out to be putting a doll in their attic window, which is perfectly visible from the main street that goes right by it.
This is no normal doll either, it is staring right down at the street, and its head is cocked to the side, and it has a big fucking scary grin on it's face.
I get severe goosebumps every time I drive by that house, whether I look at the doll or not.
And no that is not an urban legend, it happened not too long ago.

Listening to the opening Overture of The Phantom of the Opera. Actually seeing it live in Toronto back when I was in highschool (and getting a quick backstage tour before the performance - making my schoolmates jealous *evil grin*) was amazing. I wish I had the chance to see it again before it closed in Toronto. *sigh*
Other than that, being cold will give me goosebumps.

Seeing those surgery shows that are cutting people open.
Touching any seafood!
Touching anything slimey.

Biting any kind of foil. I have accidentally put one of those small peanut butter cups in my mouth with some of the foil still on it and bit down hard. Just thinking about biting down on that metal foil material gives me shivers.

I would have figured for Swedes it would have been an icicle falling off and sticking right in your ass while you slept...or is that over on the Good Feelings thread?

Nope, that would be to be anally raped by one of the icebears that roam our streets.
