I understand the popularity of bad music, but what's good music then?

I downloaded them on your recommendation, didn't seem like anything original or groundbreaking, I'd rate it a flacid penis at best.

I recently acquired a number of songs of Joy Division (old old school punk band), and a number of songs from And They Will Know us by the Trail of Dead (ridiculously long name), songs like Mistakes and regrets are good... Theres a lot of great music out there, you just gotta find it, its usually none of the stuff on the radio.

Joy Division = the win.

Heh... a long time ago in another life, I played guitar and analog synths in a college band in Austin. Played a show with Trail of Dead once before they were well known at all. Played with Spoon regularly. ...several others, too. Those were fun days.
