ok well the press release says this
"SAN DIEGO, CA – October 21, 2002– Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE), a worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online gaming, announced today that EverQuest®: The Planes of Power™ will be available in retail stores tomorrow"
so that means its on sale in stores Tuesday the 22nd right? i heard rumors that walmart has it already but im not gonna go around to 12309230 different software places today to buy it if its not on sale till tomorrow. anyone have any info if they got it in a store yet today?

I called OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of EB and Soft Etc today and none had it. They said relese from Sony was today but product will not arrive in stores untill Tues.
Best Buy also will have it Tuesday.

I haven't checked many places yet, but I saw where it had sold out at Wal-Mart yesterday. It wasn't on the shelves yet at Best Buy or Target. I planned on checking a couple places on my way home from work, but I am not counting on seeing it before tomorrow at the earliest.

Walmart in Arizona (Tempe) had it. I picked up a copy. There was only one copy on the shelf and the stocker guy said they weren't going to put many out. Someone (stragi?) picked up a reserved copy while I was there.
